La investigación previa se reconoció la necesidad de diseñar una camiseta de última tecnología para jugadores de futbol, especialmente con la capacidad para proteger y brindar facilidades para el movimiento.

“The previous research recognizes the need to design a new kind of t-shirt for football players, using the last technology, especially with the capacity to Project and bring comfort in their moves while playing the game”.

El proyecto se inició en los campos deportivos de la Universidad Católicaen San Carlos de Apoquindo en un periodo de observación y estudio de 3 semanas, viendo a los jugadores en sus entrenamientos y juegos oficiales.

“The Project started in the training fields of the professional football team Universidad Catolica at San Carlos de Apoquindo (team headquarters) in a period of study of 3 weeks watching and analyzing the players in their training and official games”.

Luego de observar el roce del juego se determino que el arquero seria el jugador que se vería beneficiado con el nuevo diseño de su camiseta exclusivamente por:

"After observe the rough style of the game, it was determined that the goalkeeper was going to receive the main attention in the redesign of his t-shirt, and the reasons were:"

1) No existe un uniforme especifico para arqueros/ there are non specific goalkeepers kit.

2) Es el jugador que mas caidas presenta / the keepers are the ones who suffer more fallings Turing the game in risk.

3) Se ve afectado por el cambio de superficie en pasto natural y artificial. / They are very much affected by the change of playing in natural football grass and artificial grass.

Estudio de camisetas actuales a la fecha y cruce de información del estudio de los movimientos mecanizados.

“This is the study and data comparison on date of the actual garment of keepers and the observations made with the mechanical exercise on their training”.

Conclusiones (Results).

Génesis del Diseño (Genesis of the design).

Esta investigación tenía por objetivo identificar tecnologías y procesos de diseño que se involucraban en el equipamiento deportivo, específicamente en el fútbol.

Normalmente el diseño de camisetas de futbol o equipamiento deportivo se asocian con el diseño de vestuario, pero en este caso el vestuario pasa a ser una herramienta de trabajo y no una prenda que se caracterice solo por otorgar los colores emblemáticos del club o selección nacional. De forma explorativa se fueron identificando distintas tareas asignadas a distintos profesionales tales como cuerpos médicos, tecnólogos textiles, diseñadores gráficos, y diseñadores de equipamiento, y que en vista del análisis de las circunstancias se pudo definir que área de equipamiento era la que condicionaba mejor una optimización, que ayudara al jugador a ejercer su trabajo en el campo de juego.

Finalmente se eligió la parte superior del cuerpo, pero aun faltaba decidir si el equipamiento iba a ser para jugadores de campo o arqueros.

This research had the objective to identify technologies and design process that could be involved in sports apparel, specifically in football.

Normally the football kit design or sports apparel are identified with fashion design, but in this case the cloth became hardware to work and not just apparel with the anthem colors of the club or national team. So in an explorer way, we found different assignments for different professionals (medics, textile manufacturers, graphic designers and industrial designers), that helped to analyze the circumstances and able to choose an area of the athletes body to develop an upgrade in what we call “equipment”, that in this case will help the player to do a better job in the field.

Finally the chosen area was the upper part of the body, but still was unknown if the apparel was going to be for goalkeepers or field players.
